How we make money
Parents Home Care is free. We make money two ways: a subscription if your family chooses Zaidey, and a referral fee if you go to A Place for Mom and submit your contact information there. Neither one changes your result.
The FTC says a paid connection belongs next to the recommendation.
Parents Home Care is free to use and will stay free. We earn money in two ways, and only two.
If your parent stays home and your family subscribes to Zaidey, the optional daily check-in service offered after the assessment, Parents Home Care earns that subscription. The listed price is $29 a month when paid yearly or $39 month to month, per parent, after a free 30-day trial. A second parent in another home is $19 a month.
If you choose to visit A Place for Mom, a senior living placement service, and submit your contact information on its website, A Place for Mom pays us a referral fee. We are paid whether or not your parent visits or moves into a community. The fee can vary by the type of help requested, but it is never calculated from rent, community price, care cost, or move-in value.
Nobody here is paid based on which answer you get. The rules that decide your result are published and were clinically reviewed by Sarah Fleischman, CCC-SLP. We don't sell your information, and we never send your answers to anyone.
If you choose Zaidey
Zaidey is the optional daily check-in offered after your result. Your 24 answers and anything you typed stay here. A consent screen lists the summary fields first, and you can start without sending any of them.
If you ask for a placement introduction
It appears only with the result about needing more support than home alone can give, and only after the instruction to talk to your parent’s doctor.
We send a random reference code. Not your name, email, your parent’s name, the result, the flagged areas, or a single answer. You choose what to type on A Place for Mom’s own form. A Place for Mom is registered or licensed where required.

Questions families ask
So you get paid if I’m told to move her?
No. The result pays us nothing. A fee is possible only if you then choose to go to A Place for Mom and submit your contact information there.
Will A Place for Mom get my answers?
No. The link carries a random code and nothing else. Anything the partner knows about you is what you typed on its site.
Will someone call me?
Not by us. If you submit contact information on A Place for Mom’s website, its staff may contact you by phone or email.
Why should I believe the result isn’t rigged?
Because the rules are published in full and clinically reviewed. Nobody here can change a finished result, and saved results keep the rules version that produced them.
What should I ask any placement service?
How are you paid, have you visited these communities, and how many of them get my contact information? That is the standard consumer guidance. We are paid by A Place for Mom, never by a community, and hold no contract with one.
Can I use my result and pay nothing?
Yes. It is complete before either paid option appears. Print it, share it, or reopen it later, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy.
